This project was never actually made, but seeing a similar idea created in Finland in 2019 made me feel good about the concept, State of the Arts Finland.

Over 50% of Chicago Public School’s don’t meet minimum art requirements set by the district itself. To help change this statistic we need to raise money for CPS art programs. We’ll do that by putting the problem into perspective for Chicagoans and partnering with a non-profit that works directly with Chicago Public Schools.

To start off we’d cover up prominent murals around Chicago in half with a simple text-to-donate call to action.

Next, we’d take famous Chicago art that’s in the public domain and create wild postings to put up all around the city.
